AMD Amuse is a new tool that lets you make amazing pictures using artificial intelligence (AI) right on your computer, without needing the internet. This is different from other AI tools like those used in Gmail or ChatGPT, which require a connection to work.
To use Amuse, you need a powerful computer with a special AMD processor or graphics card, and lots of memory. It can turn your drawings into digital pictures, create new images from scratch, and even change how existing pictures look.
One cool thing about Amuse is that it can make pictures bigger and clearer really fast. This is thanks to something called AMD XDNA Super Resolution.
But there’s a catch: Because Amuse doesn’t use the internet, it might sometimes make pictures that look too similar to other people’s work. This could cause problems if you try to share these pictures online. Also, the pictures might have words in them that belong to someone else.
Amuse is still a work in progress, so it might not work perfectly all the time. But it’s a big step forward for using AI on your own computer.
